Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be hybrid or remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.

 

This strategic leadership role is responsible for the redevelopment, implementation, ongoing management, and associated reporting of the Commercial Asset Quality Reporting (AQR) process. This role oversees all aspects of the note sale process, a critical part of the bank's troubled asset reduction and disposition strategy, and will evolve and lead change to structure and processes to support the scalable growth of the Commercial Bank. This role ensures analytical depth, operational rigor, managerial experience, and high-performing execution across the Commercial Special Assets platform.

Responsibilities

  • Redevelop, implement, and manage the bank’s AQR framework to support data-driven credit oversight while maximizing efficiency and proactiveness in trouble asset management and disposition.

  • Produce timely and accurate AQR outputs for internal and regulatory consumption, providing critical insights to senior leadership, and develop a sound and executable follow-up strategy to ensure AQR Committee directives are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of the note sale process, including asset selection, due diligence, buyer coordination, pricing, and closing.

  • Directly manage a portfolio of complex problem credits, crafting actionable and measurable workout strategies.

  • Approve and contribute to credit decisions as a voting member of Asset Quality Review Committees and oversee all Commercial Asset Quality Meetings.

  • Partner with Risk, Credit, Finance, and Legal to refine process effectiveness and portfolio strategy.

  • Oversee all aspects of employee performance reporting, professional development, evaluations, and training to ensure staff growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support the Director of Commercial Special Assets in formulating Non-Performing Assets (NPA), Charge-Off and Other Real Estate Owned (OREO) forecasts.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. (Required)

Master's Degree or the equivalent experience. Speciality: Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. (Preferred)

 

Experience

10 or more years commercial credit, loan workout, or asset quality management. (Required)

5 or more years leading teams or managing professional staff. (Required)

5 or more years managing note sales or complet asset dispositions. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of commercial lending structures and credit risk principles. (Required)

  • Strong financial and operational analysis skills. (Required)

  • Advanced understanding of loan workout strategy and regulatory compliance. (Required)

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. (Required)

  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and external parties. (Required)

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $139,300.00 - $232,200.00 annually.



Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
