Overview

Provides routine administrative support to one or more Managers within the Default Administration department. Work requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company practices, policies, programs, and product line. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of semi routine administrative duties of moderate complexity requiring the exercise of some discretion and use of limited judgment and initiative. Performs duties such as maintaining complex files, keeping records, preparing schedules, compiling data for reports, searching and investigating information contained in files, processing departmental documents, posting records and typing correspondence and reports from rough drafts. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Uses common computer programs for word processing and spreadsheets, and may use databases and graphics and desktop publishing applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendor property preservation activity for vacant and abandoned property in default, including vacant property registration. Evaluates inspection reports for actionable items and approves invoices for property preservation vendor activity.
  • Monitors the loss drafts process, including bank personnel, borrowers and authorized 3rd parties on guidelines, processes letters and disbursements per written procedures, reports to the investor as required, and reviews documents including scope of damage and inspection reports.
  • Fulfills property valuations and original document requests from the document custodian.
  • Coordinates Default Reporting for investors and insurers by scheduling calendared requests, distributing trial reports for review, and monitoring investor reporting for exceptions. 

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: Does not apply at this level of education. (Required)

Experience

2 or more years Administration, customer service, word-processing, and personal computer. (Required)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The hourly rate for this position is $19.90 - $31.44.
