Overview

This is a onsite role that can be based  out of one of Fulton Bank offices in the New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.

 

Develop new business by building relationships and integrating with the Technology and Life Sciences sector. Recommend and assist in the design, development and execution of products, services and thought leadership and to drive revenue for the bank. Work with RMs on positioning these services and on cross-selling other bank products and services. Committed to community involvement and networking with Centers of Influences and Influencers. Expand the name recognition and visibility of Fulton by actively participating in various community, civic, and professional associations to enhance Fulton Financial Corporation's image and develop additional business. This role generally has experience in venture debt, structuring of warrants, and an understanding of credit underwriting in the life sciences and technology sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and assist in the design, development and execution of products, services and thought leadership for the Technology and Life Sciences sectors. Contribute to the strategic direction for the Technology and Life Sciences sectors for the bank. Recommend changes in procedures to align with strategic direction and continually assess of market condition and market opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on overall market conditions. Collaborate with partners across the Bank to ensure the program complements existing lines of business. Track, measure and report performance results of the program.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the bank's go-to-market strategy, products and services for these sectors. Assist RMs in sales process. Participate in joint calling efforts with RMs, Fulton Partners, Fulton’s Capital Market Strategies Group and Senior Management.
  • Contributes to marked growth in assigned market by meeting potential customers and the decision makers within their organization by growing, maintaining and leveraging his/her network. Attends industry networking events and volunteers with life sciences and technology trade associations to expand Fulton’s brand in the space.
  • Responds to requests for proposals and analyses in a professional and timely manner to develop new clients. Generates revenue by achieving annual deposits, lending and fee income sales growth. Has full understanding of the products and services offered by Fulton Financial Corporation. Has a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions and services Fulton Financial can provide and good knowledge of competitors.
  • Partners with Commercial, Partner, and Consumer employees in achieving established annual goals for deposits, loans, fees, and Partner income. Work closely with Commercial, Consumer and Partner employees in introducing and coordinating the relationship and needs of the new customer. Transitions new customer opportunities to Fulton Financial Corporation.
  • Develops new customer opportunities. During these conversations, a high degree of judgement is needed to facilitate solutions or to gain additional information in order to match the right product or service to the customers or prospects. Identifies customer needs by coordinating their relationship while they work with other employees in the Fulton Financial Corporation for the specific product or service needs. Uses knowledge of the market and competitors, identifies and develops unique selling propositions and differentiators.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business, finance, or economics. (Required)

Experience

5 or more years sales experience in the life sciences and/or technology industry. (Required)

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $111,100.00 - $185,100.00 annually.



Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
