Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.  Must have the ability to be onsite once per month at our headquarters location in Lancaster, PA.

 

Facilitates and guides an Agile/Scrum team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework, including organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, promoting collaboration, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values. Works closely with product owners and other Scrum team members to plan and execute iterative development and work including creating and maintaining project timelines, identifying and managing risk, and monitoring progress against identified team OKRs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and timeboxes team events and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including the Daily Stand up, Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives and ensures they are productive and deliver required outcomes.
  • Coaches and guides developers, product owners, stakeholders, leadership, and the organization to understand agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Xtreme Programming and business agility.
  • Collaborates closely with Product Management to ensure that product strategy drives delivery efforts and deliver business requirements from the prioritized development backlog.
  • Supports the team in addressing and eliminating impediments to improve the likelihood of achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
  • Effectively and proactively communicates to all team members, stakeholders and leadership the status, risks, and any needed mitigation plans for work being delivered.
  • Empowers teams to excel and manages activities through influence, accountability, and ownership in an agile environment.
  • Enables productivity by mediating through conflicts, helping team to make decisions, and adhering to continuous improvement principles.
  • Closely tracks and monitors the team’s results and reports metrics at various levels.
  • Works with other scrum masters and agile leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Agile practices in the organization.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • May contribute to various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based upon specific technical expertise.
  • Foster a learning culture by hosting various individual and team learning opportunities.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business Administration, Computer science, management information systems, Project Management, or a related field. (Required)

Required Experience

  • 4 or more years prior experience in Information technology or Business Analysis related roles. 
  • 2 or more years in a Scrum Master role or acting in a scrum master capacity. 

Preferred Experience

  • 3 or more years related industry experience (Financial Institutions, etc.)

Certifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification. (Required)

Certified Advanced Scrum Master (A-CSM) or Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certification. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills 
  • Understanding of all stages of the SDLC 
  • Expertise in workflow tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and associated tools 
  • Excellent organization skills 
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.
  • Ability to manage, adapt and foster change in a rapid environment. 
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $88,500.00 - $147,600.00 annually.



Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
