Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.

 

Directly and through the leadership of the Protection Services Department, serves as a leader championing safety and security compliance and operation throughout the company. Builds integrity, motivation, and leads a professional team committed to integrity and excellence, maintaining a high level of ethics and values. Leads the Protection Services team in the creation of policies, procedures and effective protective measures, while seeking opportunities for operational improvements, focusing on ensuring a safe and secure environment for employee, clients, and assets, including proactive and responsive programs. Leads or participates in strategic initiatives focused on physical security standards, managing critical events, executive security, and protective services, implements initiatives and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively within the Information Security Office Team and IT, with Corporate Real Estate, Consumer Operations and Business Continuity to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of physical security practices and measures are implemented throughout the company facilities. Ensures appropriate risk management policies and procedures are developed and maintained based on the company risk and policy governance framework, regulations, and best practices. Exercises and directs mechanisms to ensure protective services, safety requirements, and crisis management and objectives are established and adequate.
  • Provides direction related to all third-party partner organizations that may be utilized by the company, to ensure appropriate customer service levels, technology platforms, risk management policies and procedures, and performance metrics are met. Negotiates contracts, leases or purchase agreements related to protective services, technology, equipment, electronic or banking security systems. Ensures compliance with the contract and vendor management policies.
  • Provides leadership and direction to Physical Security team for the program, operation, implementation, and policy enhancements are successfully implemented.
  • Prepares annual budgets and ensures department operate within their limitations.
  • Develops physical security and oversight strategies to achieve goals and objectives, relating to the physical security function. Identifies, analyzes, and communicates on business and enhanced security-related risk to the company. Lead short and long-term organizational planning and implementation, which could include cross functional teams involving strategy and implementation of physical security goals. Monitor the risk environment, enable the organization to securely meet its business objectives, and effectively adjust tactics to ensure compliance with corporate risk appetite and risk thresholds.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for the Protection Services policy, process and procedures. Ensures compliance of Regulation H subsection J, and related safety and security regulations, reporting to Enterprise Risk Management and annual reporting to the Fulton Bank Board of Directors.
  • Provides direction on operational initiatives and aids in the coordination of resources to develop efficiencies and cost management. Recognizes opportunities for improvement and initiates associated change management within the company to ensure annualized efficiencies. Leverages technical expertise, knowledge of risk security, and knowledge of cost effective delivery of mitigation solutions.

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Criminal Justice or related field. (Required)

Experience

10 or more years criminal justice or a related field. (Required)

10 or more years management experience. (Required)

Certifications

Physical Security Professional, Certified Protection Professional, or CFSSP. (Preferred)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $99,200.00 - $165,300.00 annually.



Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
