Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.  Must have the ability to be onsite at our location in East Petersburg, PA on a quarterly basis.

 

 

Manages a team of individuals who provide various levels of supports to the functions contained within the commercial loan operations area, including training related to changes, systems support, data analytics management, and quality control of various processing and servicing functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for communication within the loan support team, ensuring that all relevant information flows efficiently between departments
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Plan, assign and evaluate the work of staff, provide guidance and coaching to subordinate team members, oversee all aspects of employee management and development, approve and implement necessary employee actions, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related matters, conduct timely and effective annual review process
  • Organize and lead regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance metrics, and upcoming changes to procedures or regulations affecting loan operations
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of key performance reports related to loan operations, including loan processing times, error rates, and portfolio performance
  • Oversee the implementation and continued enhancement of loan quality review processes and procedures
  • Provide management support and direction to staff directly responsible for the data management of core operating systems and analysis of reporting, and who provides technical support for system related issues affecting loan operations
  • Manage accuracy of data elements required for the pledging of assets as collateral for loans, ensuring that all pledging activities comply with relevant banking regulations and internal policies
  • Ensure that pledged assets are properly tracked, verified, and reported, maintaining accurate records for audit and regulatory review.
  • Regularly review and update reporting processes to align with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide management support and direction for staff responsible for coordinating and delivering change management and training plans
  • Lead, promote and support broader corporate and department initiatives, including organizational and strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions

 

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: not applicable at this level. (Required)

Experience

5 or more years loan operations, loan servicing, or a related financial services field. (Required)

7 or more years leadership experience managing teams and multiple processes. (Required)

3 or more years experience with various types of loans (e.g., commercial, small business, consumer) and familiarity with related regulations. (Preferred)

3 or more years hands-on experience with loan management systems, preferably with system implementations or migrations. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in loan servicing software and loan origination systems (Preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead communication efforts within loan operations (Required)
  • Expertise in fostering clear, transparent, and timely communication across various teams, including loan officers, servicing staff, and other departments within the bank (Required)
  • Ability to create detailed, data-driven reports to inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives within loan operations (Required)
  • Strong understanding of pledging procedures, including the rules and regulations related to pledging assets as collateral (Required)
  • Familiarity with different types of collateral (e.g., real estate, securities, cash) and experience in managing the pledging process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Required)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates.  This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.

Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $79,100.00 - $131,800.00 annually.

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
